We’re a couple of days away from UFC 234 in Melbourne, Australia, as the fighters have already gotten the open workouts and some of the media rounds out of the way leading up to this weekend’s event. The UFC hasn’t held a pay-per-view event in Australia since UFC 193 took place in Melbourne more than three years ago, so it’s a pretty big weekend for the promotion company and Australian fight fans.

The open workouts were held on Thursday afternoon in Melbourne and they got quite the turnout for the free event. One of the fighters on the main card of the event is 29-year-old Nigerian fighter Israel Adesanya, who will look to improve to 16-0 in a tilt against Anderson Silva. During his open workout he had some fun with the fans and showed some love to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson by doing his best impression of The Rock’s famous ‘People’s Elbow’ and they loved every second of it.

It’s pretty crazy that people are still doing wrestling impressions of The Rock considering he’s made the full time switch from professional wrestler to actor, but we all know that legends never die. It turns out that wasn’t the only classic wrestling move he pulled off during his workout as he also did his best impression of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s ‘Stunner’.

Adesanya’s last defeat inside the octagon came during his amateur days back on November 28, 2009. Since making the jump to the professional level in 2012 he’s won all 16 of his bouts and owns a 4-0 UFC record with two of those wins coming by way of TKO.
