Not every fight winner in the UFC gets to leave the Octagon standing on their own two feet.
Saturday at UFC 222, Bantamweight fighter Sean O'Malley managed to win his match by decision, despite seriously injuring his foot after kicking his opponent, Andre Soukhamthath. After hearing his name called as the winner, O'Malley celebrated his victory on the ground before giving an out of the ordinary post-fight interview while lying down on the mat.
Luckily for O'Malley the fight went to the ground following his injury and he was able to finish the match and come away with the win. Quite an unforgettable result.
Fight fans may remember that Jon Jones badly injured his toe in his win versus Chael Sonnen at UFC 159, forcing the then UFC Light Heavyweight champion to do his post-match interview while sitting on a stool.
