One of the most impressive win streaks in college football came to an end on Tuesday when LSU defeated UCF 40-32 in the Fiesta Bowl. The Knights had won 25-straight games heading into their game against the Tigers and they put up a valiant fight.
Ultimately, though, LSU came out on top in a game that meant a lot more for a UCF looking for national respect and trying to prove it can hang and beat the best teams in college football.
All that is to say the loss was a heartbreaking one for the Knights, but that didn't stop this UCF player and LSU fan from engaging in an absolutely heartwarming moment of sportsmanship.
Brandon Moore, who had a solid game for UCF with a pick-six, was the player who gave the fan his gloves.
It's easy to get caught up in all the trash talk and social media posts that lead to feuds, but these moments are the ones that truly matter and leave a lasting impression on the sports world.
