Just in case the Winter Classic didn’t completely fill your palate for outdoor hockey, the Notre Dame Stadium is hosting one more outdoor game on Saturday, this one between the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Michigan Wolves.
While this event isn’t likely to equal the Winter Classic in turnout, it is pretty neat for Notre Dame fans to see their team take advantage of the venue’s conversion for hockey — but it looks like Michigan is going to steal the show, with these all-whites they’re wearing.
Some fans prefer the presence of colour, which, in a vacuum, we understand, but in the context of an outdoor game? Please, just run with the whiteout look. It’s almost too bad that the forecast calls for sunny weather, because these would actually be nuts under a dusting of snow, or like, a whole blizzard.
The Toronto Maple Leafs, also, debuted a set of all-whites for last season’s Stadium Series game against the Washington Capitals. At the time, they were met with mixed reactions, but we have to say, this look has really won us over.
