A lot of people within the hockey community were quick to judge Tyler Seguin when he was a member of the Boston Bruins during the early years of his career. However, since joining the Dallas Stars five years ago, the Brampton, Ontario native has managed to completely flip the script and has flourished into the superstar most scouts expected him to become while they were watching him in the OHL.
Earlier this week, Seguin teamed up with the Dallas Stars Foundation to create something special for the local youth and the final product turned out amazing.
Seguin, the Dallas Stars Foundation and some of their partners teamed up to create a brand new ball hockey court for the children at the Boys and Girls Club of Collin Country-Frisco and also helped renovate the learning lab.
The five-time NHL All-Star was in attendance to add some final touches to the ball hockey court and for the ceremonial ribbon cutting, but he also interacted with the youth and posed for photos, and also joined them on the court to help them break it in.
Seguin has suited up in 371 games in a Stars uniform and has totaled 169 goals and 199 assists for 368 points during that span.
