Tyler Seguin and Mark Scheifele were at it again on Saturday night.

The two started their own little tradition ahead of the Jets vs. Stars game, when they’d duke it out in a classic game of rock, paper, scissors to see who could earn the right to leave the ice last. In front of a home crowd, Seguin didn’t disappoint as he took his old friend to school at the American Airlines Center.

Don’t worry Jets fans, this hasn’t been the result every time the two have gone toe-to-toe. Here’s a look at how a previous contest played out. Despite what looked to be a winning result for Scheifele, Seguin pulled a fast one on his opponent at Bell MTS Place.

Today’s results kind of foreshadowed the way the game would play out. Dallas dummied Winninpeg 5-1 thanks to two goals and two assists by Seguin. The two teams will meet again on January 6th in Winnipeg, so time will tell how their next battle pans out.
