If you’re a professional soccer player you don’t expect to ever play a game in the snow, but anything can happen these days.
On Saturday İstanbul Başakşehir F.K. and Sivasspor went head-to-head in the Süper Lig and were forced to play their game in the snow. Even worse, one of the teams wore white for the match.
The photos from the game look like something right out of recess at school as the players were sliding all over the place and doing their best to embrace the elements.
The two teams played to a 1-1 draw, but they got to experience something that not many professional soccer players, or soccer players in general, can say they experienced.
