The first and biggest free agency domino fell on Sunday with John Tavares signing a 7-year deal with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Now that he's signed, the spotlight is on other free agents and players rumoured to be on the trade block, like Erik Karlsson. The Senators' captain has been involved in trade rumours for a while now and there are reportedly a number of teams interested.
We've know Vegas has been in on Karlsson, but it's interesting that teams like Colorado and even the Islanders are after Karlsson.
This tweet has also left fans speculating what times are in on him and Bobby Ryan because it seems like if a team does end up trading for Karlsson, they'll almost certainly have to take Ryan's contract as well.
