After Thursday night's games, every second round series (aside from the Hurricanes/Islanders) is tied at 2-2.  Colorado took care of business on home ice against the Sharks, but before that game, the Bruins got a huge road win against the Blue Jackets by a final of 4-1.

Boston never trailed in the win, in large part due to the exceptional play of Tuukka Rask who made 39 saves.  It actually should have been a 40-save shutout for Rask because on the lone Columbus goal, the puck actually went out of play before Artemi Panarin put it in the net.

After the game, Rask was asked about the odd goal that shouldn't have counted and he actually admitted he didn't see the puck go up into the netting, which in his opinion was a good thing.

It's probably a good thing for the refs, the Bruins, and Rask that he didn't see the puck hit the netting because getting angry over that call could have changed how Rask approached the rest of the game.

The Bruins goalie stayed calm, cool, and collected, though, and the Bruins will need more of the same going forward if they hope to make it to the Conference Final for the first time since they lost in the Stanley Cup Final back in 2012/13.
