Just about worst case scenario played out for Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Enjoying yet another very successful season with the Crimson Tide, it all came crashing down in a hurry when ‘Bama was taking on the University of Georgia in the SEC Championship.
Tua suffered a dislocated hip, which is a devastating injury to anyone, but in particular to mobile quarterbacks. Immediately, speculation started to roll in about one of the game’s top quarterback prospects. Would he be able to recover fully from an injury of this magnitude?
According to Tagovailoa himself, he already has.
A little more than a year after sustaining the injury, videos have begun to surface of Tua training. He certainly looks to be moving without hindrance, and recently he joined the NFL Network to confirm his status.
Is it possible that Tua is simply buttering up his status in hopes of convincing teams to draft him earlier? Absolutely, but saying that the videos don’t lie. Tua looks healthy, and his confidence is all teams can really ask for.
Now the big question on everyone’s mind… who’s drafting the QB?
