Although he has yet to play in his first NFL game, Tua Tagovailoa is wasting no time making his impact felt as a pro.
He’s establishing a $300,000 scholarship for students from his alma mater, the Saint Louis School in Honolulu, Hawaii. Four scholarships, each named after his grandparents, will be distributed over the next four years.
It’s actions like these that are part of the reason Tagovailoa is so well-liked, and while the on-field product is pending the start of the season, fans of the Miami Dolphins can at least be happy that their team got a good one off the field with the fifth overall pick in the draft this year.
Tagovailoa’s generosity made the rounds on the internet on Mother’s Day, when he surprised Mom with a brand new Cadillac in a very sweet and charming video.
