With the NBA trade deadline approaching, fans are wondering if the Toronto Raptors will look to upgrade at the center position following the departure of Marc Gasol and Serge Ibaka in the offseason

They’ve been connected to some names already in the rumour mill, including Andre Drummond, and Canadians fans may be excited by the latest possibility.

Yahoo’s Chris Haynes reports that the Boston Celtics could look to trade Tristan Thompson, with the possibility of a reunion with his hometown Raptors in play.

Unfortunately, if this trade went down, Thompson wouldn’t have the opportunity to play in front of the fans in Toronto this season with the Raptors in Tampa. However, his contract runs through next season, so it could still happen.

With just over a week until the NBA’s March 25th trade deadline, we’re sure that there will be much more action in the rumour mill as we get closer. Buckle in!
