The MLB has been facing some criticism recently from fans who are looking for more excitement. Home runs are awesome and defensive plays are remarkable but one big part of the game is shifting before our eyes as more players are beginning to celebrate their home runs in a big way.
A prime example of this is superstar Fernando Tatis Jr., who has been a breath of fresh air on the field for the Padres unapologetically being himself at all times. He showed us that again last night.
After Trevor Bauer pitched with one eye closed against the Padres in spring training Tatis thought heβd cover one eye after smacking a home run off of Bauer last night to get some revenge.
This morning Bauer responded and actually supported Tatis celebrating and hopes more players in the MLB do the same.
Will there be a shift in baseball soon?
