It pays to be one of the best players in baseball and after missing out on Gerrit Cole, the Los Angeles Angeles made a big splash by inking Anthony Rendon to a 7-year, $245 million deal.

Fresh off of bringing a title to Washington, Rendon now heads to the 'City of Angels' to team up with the best player in baseball, Mike Trout.  Rendon leaving was always a possibility, some would even say it was more likely than not to happen, but that doesn't mean everyone was happy about it.

After the news broke, Rendon's former teammate, Trea Turner, tweeted this video out in which he grabbed a t-shirt that read 'Anthony Is My Favourite Player,' threw it on the ground and kicked it in sadness.

Poor Trea.  Before you overreact, obviously Turner isn't made at Rendon, he's just sad he won't be playing with one of the best players in the game anymore.
Mike Trout's reaction, on the other hand, was a little more laid back and simple.
We're sure he's much more excited than just the eyes emoji, especially considering the Angels reportedly still have some big plans for free agency.
