Until the Leafs sign or trade William Nylander, everything they do off the ice is going to get a lot of attention.  Friday night, for example, Kyle Dubas was in Carolina to watch the Sharks and Hurricanes game and that sparked trade speculation on social media.  

Dubas wasn't the only member of the Leafs' organization at an opposing team's game, either, as two scouts were in Colorado to watch the Avalanche face the Senators. 

Scouts being at the Avs game got fans speculating what trade the team should be make with either team.

If the Leafs end up making a trade with the Senators or Avalanche, we'll look back on this scouting trip as a pretty meaningful one.
