Fortnite’s popularity has blown up over the past few months and it only continues to rise as more and more celebrities and professional athletes share streams of the game on their social media feeds.
Aside from athletes sharing clips or screenshots of them playing the game, we’ve also seen some athletes incorporate emotes from the game into real life celebrations in actual games. On Monday night, the Tottenham Hotspur F.C. went head-to-head with Watford F.C. in Premier League action and it took Tottenham just 15 minutes to get on the scoresheet courtesy of Dele Alli.
The 22-year-old picked up his ninth goal of the campaign and celebrated with a Fortnite ‘Jubilation’ emote.
This isn’t the first time Alli has celebrated a goal with some sort of Fortnite emote as he celebrated a goal against Manchester United just over a week ago with the classic Fortnite ‘Floss Dance’ emote.
