Some NHL player like to shake their look once in a while, whereas others choose to keep things generally the same. Take former Montreal Canadiens forward Tomas Plekanec, for example, who rocked a shaved head or buzz-cut for the majority of his career.

The 34-year-old decided enough was enough this summer, though, and surprisingly decided to grow out somewhat of a Mohawk. You might be a little surprised when you see him at first glance, so pause for a few seconds to take it all in.
Hardly looks like the same guy. If you take a look at Plekanec from over the years, you'll see that both his facial and head hair have remained the same.
Usually things happen in the reverse order for athletes, as they choose to grow their hair out when they’re young before they eventually lose it. Luckily for the Czech, he can still grow it out.
The forward has one year left on his contract and has spent his 12 year career (with hardly any hair) in Montreal. On another note, didn’t he used to kind of look like Viktor Krum from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire?
