With their sixth and third Super Bowl championships respectively, Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski have just about climbed to the pinnacle of the NFL. What else are they going to do, right? Win even more Super Bowls?

Considering where they are in their respective careers, fans may be wondering if Brady and Gronk would call it quits, and take this opportunity to go out on top. Brady, of course, is 41 years old, already the oldest quarterback to play in a Super Bowl. Gronk, meanwhile, is 29, plays a punishing position in the NFL and has battled injuries throughout the 2018 season.

For Brady, at least, retirement remains firmly out of the question. He said there was ‘zero’ chance of retirement before the Super Bowl, and this win changes nothing. This guy may just play until 45.

As for Gronk, he’s leaving things a little more open-ended. He says he’ll reflect on it over the next week or two (likely around some partying), and then he’ll see.

Brady and the Patriots got off to a slow start this season, leading some to suggest that the team was finally entering decline, but as we’ve seen, they’re doing just fine. Still, whether or not Brady and Gronk return, this could be a pivotal time for the Patriots — just how much longer can this dynasty stay kicking?
