The Toronto Maple Leafs added defenceman T.J. Brodie to their roster on Friday night and they plan on having him around for quite some time.
Shortly after the Chatham, Ontario native agreed to a four-year, $20 million contract with his hometown team, the Maple Leafs dug up an old file that actually shows Brodie in his early days rocking the blue and white.
Brodie got to take part in the Maple Leafsโ Skills Competition when he was younger, where he received passes from Tomas Kaberle and Bryan McCabe before he got to celebrate with all the players.
Now heโll get a chance to be a hero for the actual team.
