The Hamilton Tiger-Cats hosted the Montreal Alouettes in the final regular season game for both teams on Saturday night and it turned into quite the shootout with a lot of the regular starters sitting out.
With the game meaning absolutely nothing for both sides as the Ticats are preparing for a playoff game against the BC Lions next week and the Als are about to call it a season, the home team showed the fans who came out on Saturday lots of love in one of the greatest ways possible.
If you were at Saturday’s tilt between the Ticats and the Als we hope you made a trip to the bar at halftime, if you’re legal drinking age, because the team picked up the halftime bar tab for all the fans.
We’re not sure what made the team decide to do this, but we’re guessing fans around the world would like their favourite team to join this trend.
