Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star forward Jalen Williams has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Boston Celtics due to a hip strain.

Williams suffered the injury when Nuggets forward Peyton Watson landed on him midway through the second quarter of Monday's loss.

Williams remained in the game for another 57 seconds before checking out and heading to the locker room. He was ruled out at halftime and finished with 12 points in 14 minutes.

A first-time All-Star, Williams entered the game averaging 21.4 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals for the Western Conference-leading Thunder.

Meanwhile, the Eastern Conference-leading Celtics listed Kristaps Porzingis and Jayson Tatum as questionable for Wednesday's matchup vs. the Thunder.

Porzingis hasn't played since Feb. 26 while working through what he called a "viral illness." Tatum is dealing with right knee tendinopathy while Jaylen Brown is listed as probable.
