The Chicago Cubs look very different these days after shipping out their core infielders from their World Series team this past week, so you probably don’t even recognize a majority of their roster now.

The Cubbies find themselves 12.5 games back in the NL Central and 9.5 games back in the Wild Card race, so it seems like they’re focusing on rebuilding for the future at this point. However, they’re still going to need to sell some tickets for their home games for the remainder of the season and there’s a secret weapon ready to go for them…if they’ll have him, of course.

Thomas Ian Nicolas, a.k.a. Henry Rowengartner, joked about agreeing to play for the Cubs again if his mom said it was ok after the Cubs’ trade deadline moves led to some jokes online.
