The Minnesota State High School Hockey Tournament, always one of hockey’s best annual events over in America, recently drew to a close after Edina’s Peter Colby potted a dramatic tournament winner in overtime.
Of course, the games are fantastic, but the real tradition here is the display of incredible hockey flow during player introductions at the tournament. Every year, there’s just some tremendous lettuce at the tournament.
Every year, Game On! Minnesota releases a video ranking of the best hair at the tournament, and now we have this year's take on the All Hockey Hair Team.
Unfortunately for fans that have followed the series every year, creator John King confirms in the video that it will be his final year releasing one of these – but the good news is that this year's video is phenomenal as always.
These guys could teach a master class in mullets. Even the coach has got great hair! In the words of Ric Flair... That’s some fantastic flow, brother.
These player intros are consistently incredible. Perhaps the only way to mess it up is to absolutely wipe out during your big moment, as one unfortunate player did this year. Even then, though, it only added to the spectacle!
