We've seen players take to Twitter in the hopes of helping them get out of a hitting slump this season, but that's the last thing Brian Dozier of the Twins needs to do right now.
The 30-year-old entered Monday night's game against the Yankees riding a 16-game hitting streak, but one Yankees fan decided he was going to be the one to help end it by wearing a "Dozier's streak ends today" t-shirt to the game.
Predictably, the fan's message on the t-shirt backfired and his reaction to watching Dozier extend his hitting streak to 17 games was priceless.
And that is why you don't wear a shirt like that to a game in the hopes of ending a hitting streak.
Luckily Dozier's hit that drove in a run didn't cost this fan's team as the Yankees ended up winning 14-1.
