April 6, 2019, will mark the one year anniversary of the tragic bus crash involving the Humboldt Broncos hockey team that took the lives of 16 people and left 13 others injured.
This week, Sports Illustrated will honour the life and legacy of Logan Boulet, a player who lost his life in the crash but managed to save many others through organ donations, through a feature story and the front cover.
This news comes one day after the Humboldt Broncos’ season concluded, one where they finished 35-19-4 with 74 points, good enough for sixth place in the league and a playoff spot.
It was a day that changed so many lives and one that the hockey community will never forget.
