The Miami Dolphins are BAD. Clearly unafraid to deal away their best players in return for picks, the ‘Fins aren’t exactly hiding the fact that they’re tanking, I MEEEEEEAN, rebuilding. They’re clearly the worst team in the league, with an incredible point differential of 117 through just three games (16 points for, 133 points against).
The Dolphins are the worst, but there’s also debatably a clear 2nd worse. Fellow AFC East squad, the New York Jets.
The Jets, who also have an unsavoury point differential (-37), aren’t having a good start to the season either, but you can blame that a little more on luck. With starting quarterback Sam Darnold sitting out with mono, and backup QB Trevor Siemian going down with an ankle injury, the Jets offence is essentially just star running back Le’Veon Bell. It’s difficult to fool any defences when you’re a one-tool offence, and it’s clear that they didn’t when they squared off with the New England Patriots on Sunday.
In fact, here’s a video of the Jets trying to convert on 12 3rd downs. In their 12 attempts, they compiled for a loss of four yards.
Ouch, it’s a tough time to be a Jets fan. In fact, it’s BEEN a tough time to be a Jets fan.
