When Nikita Kucherov first pulled off his signature breakaway move, it seemed to be a pretty revolutionary moment in hockey, where everyone wanted to pull off the same the deke in any opportunity they had. Now, we’re seeing the next steps of that movement.
People are starting to create their own versions of the move.
For example, this move from @Katelumley on Instagram. She comes down on the ice andfakes the goalie out with a between the legs/behind the back move combined with the no-move move. Maybe Kucherov will try out this version on his own.
Honestly, after letting that one in, you might have to pull that goalie.
