As the old saying goes, it's never over until it's over and until it's over, athletes are supposed to do everything in their power to overcome the odds and find a way to try and come back to win.

According to some Twins players, though, apparently that saying isn't enough reason to do what Chance Sisco of the Orioles did with one out in the ninth inning with his team down 7-0.
With the shift on, Sisco did what any baseball player should do in that situation, bunt to get on base.  In order to start a comeback, you have to get on base and that's exactly what he did.

Some Twins players didn't appreciate what Sisco did and they explained why after the game in which they won.
In hindsight, their gripe with Sisco is silly because he's not going to just give up and if they didn't want him to bunt, then they shouldn't have put the shift on.

When it was all said and done, Berrios still got his shutout and the Twins won.  If Baltimore were to have come from behind to win, though, Sisco's bunt would have been the turning point.
