Sports fans do some crazy and irrational things and over the years, one of the irrational things a lot of sports fans have done is get a tattoo commemorating their team winning a championship well before it happens.

Spencer will never regret that Patriots tattoo, but he's one Washington win away from really regretting the Golden Knights tattoo and going down in history for all the wrong reasons like this Cowboys fan, for example.
If a Washington fan were to get a championship tattoo right now, however, we think it wouldn't be that premature considering how the series has played out.
As the old saying goes, though, it's never over until it's over and the Golden Knights can still win this thing and complete the Cinderella story.
