Washington Capitals captain Alex Ovechkin ended his time with the Stanley Cup with a bang.
After weeks of partying with the trophy in North America, Ovi took his prize home to Moscow where he shared it with his father and residents of the city. To cap off his historic achievement, Ovi was presented with an enormous cake with a little rotating figurine of himself hoisting the Cup. Take a look at this thing, because it’s an absolute thing of beauty.
Simply incredible.

Ovi’s time with the Stanley cup came to a painful conclusion earlier today, passing it on to teammate Michal Kempny. You can only imagine what next year’s cake will look like if Ovechkin and his teammates are able to go back-to-back.
