If there’s one thing we’ve learnt about New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick over the years, it's that he’s extremely short with the media. And sometimes, he doesn’t even say anything AT ALL. But this time around, we can’t say we blame him for keeping tight-lipped.
The six-time Super Bowl champ (as the main bench boss) appeared to be on a little date night, after which he was bombarded by the paparazzi and desperate journalists seeking for some sort of sound-bite during what’s been a relatively quiet offseason for the Pats. But do you actually think Bill cracked in the slightest? Nope, not one bit. Guy hardly said a word until his valet returned with his keys. The whole thing was pretty darn awkward to watch.
But kind of boss at the same time.
“Is Tom unbreakable or what?” What would Bill even say if he did decide to speak up?
As it turns out, the 66-year-old has a tiny, tiny soft spot for the media. At least that’s what we can conclude after he verbally agreed to take a selfie with a reporter at the Super Bowl. This is rare coming from a man who's typically blunter than anyone else on the podium!
It looks like Bill is enjoying his offseason and surprise, surprise, we haven’t heard a whole lot about him away from the gridiron this summer. But hey, when you have a resume like Bill’s you can basically do whatever you want.
