The rivalry between the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens this season hasn't been nearly as fierce it has been in the past.

While the Bruins find themselves in the hunt for the Atlantic division title, the Canadiens are third last in the conference with a roster that's filled with more questions than answers. Still, you've got to hand it to these Bruins fans for continually attempting to breath life into the rivalry, despite the two teams' place in the standings.

Thursday, a clip surfaced on Instagram of a group of Boston fans who had the gall to play street hockey in downtown Montreal -- disrupting traffic in the process -- while donning a full Bruins uniform.

This style of spontaneous downtown street hockey has been all the rage in Toronto due to a new traffic law, but it just seems as if these Bruins fans were more interested in sticking it to their rivals than putting on a great game.

If any Canadiens fans are looking to retaliate with a little game of street hockey of their own, Montreal will play the Bruins this Saturday night in Boston. Keep your eyes peeled...
