Baseball season is in full swing and from now until October, home runs and batting averages will be part of our daily conversations.  For fans in Toronto, the Blue Jays will be the team talked about in association with those terms.

Expectations for the team this season are all over the place, but Toronto has gotten off to a nice start this season and they can win their fourth-straight game Tuesday night if they beat the White Sox.

As many fans know, hockey is the dominant sport in Toronto, so it's easy to understand why graphic designer Jeff Tasca decided to combine hockey and baseball to create these incredible Blue Jays hockey jerseys now that baseball is back.

Now that Baseball is back and the BlueJays are back at it, I thought I would finish this set off and post it up. Another sports mashup, this time of Baseball and Hockey. What the Blue Jays might look like as a hockey team. I had to go double blue and white for the home and away. For the alternate I had to go for the old retro powder blue look. Love the colour and thought it would be a neat look. I have a few other baseball/hockey jersey design mashups that I have done before and am just moving them over to this template. Should have up soon. #hockeyjersey #hockey #jerseyconcept #hockeydesign #jerseydesign #baseball #mlb #bluejays #uniformdesign #mashup #hockeyart #jerseyart #bluejaysnation #bluejaysfan #hockeyfan #bluejaysbaseball #uniformconcepts #sportstemplates #hockeyuniform #baseballcanada #torontosports

Those retro Blue Jays hockey jerseys are absolutely spectacular and Jeff made the right choice by going with that jersey for the alternate instead of some of the others in the team's history.

If anyone is playing hockey in the summer, these would the perfect sweaters to rock.  Also, if you like these jerseys, check out some of Jeff's other incredible mashups he's done in past:
