We’re not sure if the pandemic has us a little germ nervous, or if this is just a weird idea any day of the week.

Either way, this concept is a little out there.

Right after the Tampa Bay Lightning clinched their second Stanley Cup in a row, Coors Light unveiled a very interesting announcement. All throughout the Finals, Coors had been scraping ice from the surface at Amalie Arena. For what, you might ask?

Coors Light, which is the official beer of the Lightning, is brewing a special “Champions Ice” brew, which will be the first ever beer that’s made with the actual ice the Stanley Cup Final was played on.

This is…interesting?!

While it’s definitely cool in concept to have a little piece of history, people aren’t sure how to feel about this.

Listen, definitely a cool idea, but maybe better as a memento than an actual beverage. We’ve just seen way too many bodily fluids on the ice in our day.
