It’s been a long, painful 29 years for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and their fans. In a league with only 9 teams in it, the drought was extra painful. They got close many times, but on Sunday they finally did it.

The Bombers defeated the Hamilton Tiger-Cats 33-12  to secure the championship. With one of the most passionate fan bases in the CFL behind them, Andrew Harris and the Blue Bombers dominated from start to finish, with their vaunted defence flexing its muscle on the Tabbies.

Needless to say, the fans and the entire CFL world couldn’t believe it.
