The Golden State Warriors no longer call Oakland home, but Oakland is where this great franchise's history is tied to and Monday, they dropped a jersey to honour Oakland and a classic uniform they wore synonymous with the phrase "We Believe."
The "We Believe" era is a throwback to the 2006/07 team that featured Baron Davis and company leading the Warriors on a remarkable run, highlighted by a first round upset of the No. 1 seed Mavericks.
Bringing this jersey back, or a similar variation of it, is what fans have wanted for a long time and the basketball world seems pumped about the reveal.
