People and organizations around the world have been stepping up in big ways over the past six weeks to do what they can to raise money towards COVID-19 relief funds and help out those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

Last week, the Wilf family, owners of the Minnesota Vikings, made an extremely generous donation to the cause as they donated $1 million to United Way Worldwide, one of the six charitable organizations recommended by the NFL as part of the Draft-A-Thon fundraiser.

A $1 million donation is extremely generous and it wasn’t even the family’s first donation to the cause over the past six weeks. With their latest contribution, the family has now donated over $5 million towards COVID-19 related campaigns.

That money is going to help a lot of people get through tough times.
