We’re still just over a month away from the official release of EA Sports’ NHL 19, but gamers around the world are currently playing a BETA version of the game until they can get their hands on the real thing.
Since the BETA version isn’t exactly the final version of the game as developers still have to make any final adjustments and changes, the players’ overall ratings in the upcoming release are still a mystery to anyone who isn’t involved in the creation of the game. Since no one knows what their new overall rating is going to be, we decided to ask some members of the Toronto Maple Leafs, and one former NHLer, what they think their updated overall rating should be based on their play season and also weighed in on who will have the lowest rating.
Mitch Marner, William Nylander, Zach Hyman, Morgan Rielly and Jeff O’Neill all weighed in on the matter, but no one was as generous with their updated rating as Rielly.
NHL 19 is set to be released on September 14, so it’s only a matter of time until the actual updated ratings get released.
