A few weeks back when Tomas Tatar faced the Vegas Golden Knights, one Montreal Canadiens fan went viral when he was spotted saying Tomas Tatar's name with an emphatic emphasis on the second syllable in Tatar's name combined with his French accent.
Habs superfan Derek Toulouse was the man behind the quote, which quickly turned into a meme and had hockey fans in stitches, and prompted a tweet from Tatar himself, saying that Toulouse was "an absolute legend."
Toulouse started a Twitter account and the first tweet he sent out featured a tweet of himself reenacting the viral moment.
During the Habs and Hurricanes game on Tuesday night, the organization invited him to take in the game, where he had a special message for anyone that follows the Habs on Twitter.
When the game was over, Tatar guy, accompanied by a friend, got to meet the actual Tomas Tatar.
