For a night, the Stanley Cup could be yours.
As the Cup’s current holders, the Tampa Bay Lightning are running a pretty neat promotion to let fans have their own Stanley Cup experience. It won’t come cheap, but the money will be going towards charity.
For $5,000, Lightning fans can spend the night with the Cup in Amalie Arena, with a 5-course dinner, arena tour, skate session and locker room stall of their own.
If falling asleep with a rink view sounds like your kind of thing, then this is pretty cool. The Lightning are listing this right on Airbnb.
Obviously, it won’t be for most fans to shell out this kind of money, but in what has been a pretty strange year for the fan experience and sports in general, it’s cool to see the Lightning get creative, all for a good cause.
