Nashville has unexpectedly become one of the most fun hockey markets in the NHL. The city, which is known for country music and good times, has put a real Nashville spin on the hockey experience, and their recent success has also helped catapult their fan base.
It even comes with a cool nickname, Smashville.
Smashville wouldn’t be Smashville without it’s iconic Smash Car. While most teams would try to keep opposing team colours as far away from the arena as possible, Nashville embraces it. So that they can SMASH them.
Fans are given a bat, anything goes when it comes to hitting this vehicle.
Unfortunately for Smashville, it didn’t work too well in Game 1. The Preds fell 3-2 to the Dallas Stars.
Maybe the fans will need to smash that car even harder for Game 2.
