We finally know who the voice of the Seattle Kraken will be.

Taking to social media with a FaceTime style video, the Kraken revealed the TV play-by-play announcer for their inaugural season, who hockey fans might be familiar with already. It’s John Forslund!

Forslund has been a broadcaster for the Carolina Hurricanes for over two decades and has called some national games for NBC Sports. Kraken GM Ron Francis has a few ties to the Hurricanes franchise himself, obviously.
