As Nike has ruled out several alternative City Connect jerseys in part of the inaugural MLB City Connect Series, various teams have been given the Nike makeover.
From the Arizona Diamondbacks whose jerseys we arguably may like even more than their current jerseys to the Chicago Cubs who we’re a bit on the fence with still, baseball fans have not shied away from voicing their opinions on the jerseys.
The latest city to get the VIP treatment was none other than the San Francisco Giants.
The modified white and orange home jerseys pay homage to the Golden Gate Bridge, sporting it on the sleeve. In addition, both the sleeve, numbers, and block letter “G” have fading to highlight the cities infamous fog.
And you know what? We actually love these. There’s something about these that are so bold yet crisp at the same time, we’re just absolutely sold on these.
Though of course, not everyone is going to agree on jersey unveilings, especially with a ton of reception being along the lines of “gatorade” or “creamsicle” jerseys.
