Once upon a time before his wrestling career and acting careers, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson was property of the Calgary Stampeders.

After graduating from Miami in 1994, Johnson took his talents north of the border in hopes of landing a job with the Stamps. The coach at the time, Wally Buono, cut The Rock after two months with the club.

Last week while in Hawaii while filming Disney's Jungle Crusie, Johnson posted a video of himself in front of a TV where Buono was coaching the B.C. Lions in their win over the Edmonton Eskimos. He explained the trials and tribulations of a broke college kid earning $300 a week trying to make it in the league.

When Buono cut him, it was a blessing in a disguise, as his wrestling and acting careers made him into an A-list celebrity.

On Friday, the Calgary Stampeders tweeted out a Flashback Friday photo of The Rock's headshot from training camp, and it's pretty damn awesome.

Check out the size of his neck there. And how about that chinstrap? Do you need to do a double-take?
