Hockey's second season is officially here, and for Toronto Maple Leafs fans, things got off to a pretty optimal start on Thursday night.

The Leafs went into Boston and beat the Bruins for a 1-0 series lead with a 4-1 victory on a pair of goals from Mitch Marner, while William Nylander and John Tavares (empty-netter) also found the back of the net.

As a playoff tradition, thousands of fans invade Maple Leaf Square (or Jurrasic Park when the Raptors play) outside the Scotiabank Arena to watch the Leafs in action.

Not only was it Leafs braving the crispy temperatures outside the arena, but BarDown's very own Luca Celebre and Eric Kirk returned for their second year of officiating.

While they weren't rocking the blue and white jerseys, the two zebras had their own, making sure everyone was on their best behaviour as well reenacting all the calls from the games.

They came prepared with their whistles and even had their visor spray to make sure they were able to do their jobs up to the highest standards.

Who knows what they'll have in store for the rest of the playoffs.
