The Toronto Raptors got super creative in wishing Dalano Banton a happy birthday on Sunday.
The Raps posted a photo on Twitter of the 45 bus route in Toronto with a birthday message for their forward.
If you don’t know the backstory you’re probably thinking that this is the least coolest way to wish someone a happy birthday. Before you get ahead of yourselves, it has a more deeper meaning than you think!
Dalano chose the number 45 because of the 45 Kipling bus route. He wanted something to remind him of where he came from, and he frequently used this bus route while growing up.
