Today is the day.
It’s the day the Toronto Raptors and their fans have long been awaiting: it’s the day that they finally get to defend their Championship title.
Of course, things will look a little different this year. They waited much longer than they thought they were going to have to, and they’ll have to defend their title in the NBA bubble, with no fans, family, or friends in the stands.
The Raps have tried to make everyone feel as included as possible despite the distance, and even went out of their way to send media kits to reporters covering their games remotely.
In addition to this, the Raps involved the players’ families announced the starting lineup.
This is a great way to not only involve the players loved ones, but also, make them feel supported while they’re so far away.
Gotta love this organization.
