While the 2020-21 NBA season is sure to be a very different sort of year for all NBA teams, it’s an extra different year for the Toronto Raptors. Being the league’s only Canadian team, border issues have forced the Raptors to temporarily relocate their home court to Tampa Bay, Florida.

Some would see that as a distinct disadvantage, but Tampa and the Raps are trying their best to make it feel like home as much as they possibly can. Similar to what the Toronto Blue Jays did when they conducted their business south of the border, the Raps have customized their digs to make it feel a little more like it’s their own.

A little different, but not too bad! A little odd to have the ceilings so low on the practice court, and even more odd to have a massive light fixture in there as well.

While it’s too bad that they won’t be able to sleep in their own beds and live in their own homes, it’s nothing that they aren’t used to after spending time in the NBA Bubble.
