Ugly sweater parties have taken over the holiday season in recent years. It’s become such a cultural centrepiece that companies have begun purposely designing ugly sweaters so that their sonsumers may have the “ugliest” sweater at the party (some of them actually just look good now).
The Pittsburgh Penguins decided to get in of the action, and hosted an ugly sweater party themselves. In order to introduce the promotion, the Penguins used some of their players to outline the basic rules of the holidays.
Apparently the “how to” video worked, because people really went all out for this one.
Those are great, but nobody (and any party ever) has ever worn a sweater quite so ridiculous than this one Pens fan named Scott.
Wonder if the Pens will hold this party again next year… They did have one last year:
