In case you haven't heard, *cough* Bill Belichick *cough*, Andrew Luck of the Indianapolis Colts shockingly retired from football at the age of 29 this past weekend.
Luck's retirement is one of the most surprising in sports history due to many factors and unless you live deep beneath the surface of the earth like Belichick, you already know all there is to know about the decision. Monday while speaking to the media, the Patriots head coach was about Luck retiring and gave an answer only he could.
The Patriots and Colts have a bit of a history (Deflategate anyone?), so some though Belichick's reaction was a way of trolling the Colts. Others suggested his "I didn't see that" comment meant he actually didn't know about Luck's retirement until that very moment in the press conference.
The quote is surely open for interpretation, but the Patriots added something to the transcript that suggests Belichick did know Luck called it a career.
Just another day in Foxborough.
